He graduated in 1993 and practiced in a mixed animal practice for one year in North Carolina. He and his wife, Susan, came to Charlottesville, Va in 1994. Dr. Shane was an associate veterinarian in the area for 4 years before starting his own practice in 1998. His hobbies include fly-fishing, brewing beer, and enjoying life with his wife and two grown children.
